Great are you LORD and greatly to be praised! We will extol you, our God and king, and bless your name forever and ever (Ps. 145:3a, 1)!
We will be a force of praise in our land, to welcome your presence, your wisdom and understanding, your counsel and might, your knowledge and the fear of the LORD into our nation. We push back against the darkness trying to take permanent residence in the fabric of our society. We advance against wickedness and chase it off our soil with the high praises of God in our throats and two-edged swords in our hands, to execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples, to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron, to execute on them the judgment written! For this is honor for all his godly ones. Praise the LORD (Ps. 149:6-9)!
We ask for mercy on those who do not know you LORD. Open the eyes of their hearts that they may know what is the hope to which you have called them (Eph. 1:18). We receive your grace to be a witness in whatever capacity you may lead. Through the grace and power of God Most High we will ‘’speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus (Acts 4:29, 30).’’
Have mercy on America. May we be united as one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. For it is our destiny to be a city on a hill, proclaiming your greatness from here to the nations! May we be a shining example to all peoples that, ‘’blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he has chosen as his heritage (Ps. 33:12).’’
